Georgia Ruffley

Owner/Managing Director

My passion for working with children runs deep, rooted in childhood memories of helping my mum, a dedicated childminder, care for her little ones. Even at eight, I was a regular at our local kids club, Playtime, where my mum, Valerie, worked her way up from playworker to owner. Witnessing her journey was inspiring, and by 15, I knew I wanted to follow suit.

Fast forward to 2019, and the dream came true. With a heart full of excitement and a head full of ideas, I bought Playtime from Valerie and christened it Bee Kids Ltd. It hasn't been easy – the pandemic threw us a curveball, but we emerged stronger, our commitment to providing a vibrant, nurturing "home away from home" for children only solidified.

I graduated university in October 2023 with a foundation degree in working with children and young people. I'm a firm believer in constant growth, and I'm always searching for new ways to refine my practice and create even more impactful experiences for your little ones.

Safety and well-being are paramount. I hold certificates in Paediatric First Aid, Designated Safeguarding Lead, Behaviour Management, and Food Hygiene Level 1, ensuring peace of mind for both parents and children.

But for me, it's all about the joy and fun. Seeing a child's face light up as they embark on a creative adventure, or the way their laughter fills the room during a messy play session – that's what fuels my passion. At Bee Kids Ltd., we celebrate imagination, individuality, and the sheer joy of childhood. Come join our buzzing hive – we'd love to welcome you and your little ones!

Jade
Deputy Manager

Joining our team in May 2021, Jade brought with her a wealth of experience in both childcare and education. Having worked in our kitchens and as a mum at Arden Primary School, she already held a special place in the hearts of many children through her warm interactions during lunchtime. While actively contributing to our operations, Jade pursued her Level 3 Childcare qualification, demonstrating her dedication to professional development. Her commitment was further recognized in November 2023 with her well-deserved promotion to Deputy Manager. Jade's impressive qualifications, including CPD Teaching Assistant certification with a focus on SEN, ADHD, and Autism, along with her commitment to safety and wellbeing (evidenced by her Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, and Food Safety certifications), ensure she's a valuable asset to our team and a trusted companion for the children in our care.
